Gail Oakley Pratt is of counsel, representing clients in appellate litigation matters.  She is admitted to practice law in the State of Connecticut and the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut.  She is a member of the Windham County Bar Association. 

Before joining our firm, Attorney Pratt served as a permanent law clerk to the Connecticut Appellate Court serving Chief Judge William Bright from 2017-21, Justice Raheem Mullins from 2014-17, Judge Stuart Bear from 2010-14, and former Chief Judge Joseph Flynn from 2004-10.  Attorney Pratt also served as a term clerk at the Appellate Court (2002-03) before being hired in a permanent capacity.  She directly assisted the judges of the Appellate Court on well over 500 appeals.  At the beginning of her legal career, Attorney Pratt clerked in the Office of Legal Research for the Connecticut Superior Court, focusing much of her time on zoning appeals, and as a Temporary Assistant Clerk in the Danielson Superior Court.  Attorney Pratt officially retired from state service in September, 2021.

Attorney Pratt is a graduate of Northeastern University School of Law (NUSL) and Rhode Island College.  While in law school, she wrote for the Tobacco Litigation Reporter and Tobacco on Trial.   She was the student representative on the NUSL Admissions Committee.  In service to her local community, Attorney Pratt spent twelve years on the Killingly Board of Education, four years on the Killingly Town Council, and two years on the Killingly Planning and Zoning Commission.  She also served two years on the Legal Fee Resolution Board of the Connecticut Bar Association and volunteered for the Connecticut Bar Association Pro Bono Network.  Attorney Pratt is a founding member of the Women & Girls Fund of Northeastern Connecticut and the Killingly Quiet Corner Regional Lions Club.  She has been a member of Lions Clubs International for more than twenty-five years.  Attorney Pratt is also a Notary Public and a Justice of the Peace.
